AMHL Calendar of Events and Activities
One of the best ways for Malamute owners to enjoy the company of their dogs and learn more about this wonderful breed is through events and activities such as the ones sponsored by the HELP League (AMHL) and by some of the wonderful people who are AMHL members. Events can be single day outtings or a weekend. Activites can include picnics and BBQs, day hiking or weekend camping, fun games and demonstrations for the entire family as well as educational clinics on various aspects of dog ownership. Attend organized events to watch, learn and try recreational sporting activities with your Malamutes. These include weight pull, carting, skijoring, recreational sledding and dog sled racing - but watch out as you and your dogs will get addicted!
