Aluk Malamutes in Montana

Oct. 2011: 161 Malamutes seized - breeder charged with cruelty and neglect. Lewis & Clark Humane Society seeks donations.

The Alaskan Malamute Help League has been in touch with Bob Sutherland, President of the Alaskan Malamute Assistance League (AMAL) and has offered our assistance to help place some of the Aluk Malamutes should they be released into AMAL rescue.

The AMHL regrets that we are not able to take additional Malamutes into foster at this time. Our current efforts are focused on fundraising to support Malamutes currently in AMHL rescue, providing medical rehabilitation, training and placement. The AMHL is committed to providing education and support to Malamute owners, shelters, rescue groups and to the public. A donation of any amount would be greatly appreciated.
