Bosco and Bruizer are 2 neutered male brothers in AMHL foster care in southwestern Ontario.

Age: 2 years of age
Weight: both ~90 pounds
Good with Animals: Live with dogs and cats and are fine.
Good with kids & Teens; very friendly
Both are house dogs and are house trained.
Issues: Escape artists.

Bosco is lighter colour with short hair and Bruizer darker colour and long hair), are about 2 years old.

Bosco and Bruizer are being re-homed due to a new baby arriving in the home along with a change in hours of home business, there is just no time for these very vibrant and happy pups.

Bosco and Bruizer are malamute/husky crosses and have been together since birth. They go everywhere together and we are hoping they can be adopted together as they have never been separated for long.

Both puppies are very playful and live with other dog and cats.  Very
good with children.  Has been with very young up to teenagers with no
problems. Both are house trained.

Bruizer is definitely the boss of all animals in the house.  He's the daredevil and a take charge kind of boy.

Bosco is the cuddler.  He loves to cuddle anyone and anywhere he can get one!  Bruizer is a nibbler when it comes to food.  Bosco is a food hog.

They are escape artists, so a solid fence will be a must.

Both pups are are happy and excited when new guests arrive.  They are somewhat overbearing if allowed, but do settle after many sniffs. Both boys are neutered, up to date with all vaccinations.  They love treats of all kinds especially fruits and veggies. As with any northern breeds, they tend to pull while on a leash.

Update from Foster Parent….January 25th 2010

"They are both learning to walk better on leash. They still get
excited at the beginning of our walks, but settle down after a few
minutes of walking. Bosco is more forward, and sometimes has to have
his manners checked when he forgets himself and pulls too much.
Bruizer on the other hand, settles down and enjoys walking nicely.!

These guys have settled in with the new foster well. They are enjoying lying on the couch and laying in front of the fire. They have no issues at all with cats or dogs, horses. They love people and enjoy being brushed and loved.

They have been out a couple of times now, trying out pulling sled, and they just LOVE it! The foster Mom said; “I thought they would be a little antsy when first hitched to the sled with my lead dog but, they just took to it as if they had been doing it all their lives. And boy did they move!!”

They are very high energy guys and anyone who adopts them will have to be prepared to do a lot of walking and playing. These are not dogs who will be happy to spend their days out in a backyard with only a couple of short walks a day.

They have no issues at all. They are very friendly, laid back dogs, that seem to take things in stride. Bruizer seemed to take a little longer to warm up, but Bosco is the submissive one and all he wants is his belly rubbed.
These guys must NEVER be allowed off leash, they will definitely run!

They don't like being apart, so MUST be adopted together."

Given that it is impossible to predict with complete accuracy how any dog will react in a given situation, without completeknowledge of its life experiences, the AMHL urges the adopter to exercise caution in introducing the dog tonew situations until the dog has become fully adjusted to its new environment and the adopter has had an opportunity to become familiar with the dog's unique personality.
