This gorgeous boy is looking for a new home due to an accident in his family. He was born on May 28, 2007. Diesel is neutered and up to date on all his shots. Right now he weighs about 115 pounds, but when fully grown could be as high as 140. He is still filling out and although may not get much taller, will certainly be more muscular.

Diesel is growing into a fine young man, enjoying the company of female dogs that he plays with every day. In his current foster home, there are female dogs that come and go and he just loves them all! He gets along with all that he meets. Although he does not challenge other males, he will stand his ground if challenged. He would do best by having a female friend to romp and play with.

Since he has been in foster care we have learned that he is an easy going boy who listens very well. He is learning to walk on leash although still pulls at first, does settle down once he learns he is not walking the person. He knows all his basic commands and enjoys learning new things picking them up very quickly. Diesel has a gentle nature towards people and does love attention from them. His ideal new home should have a medium sized female canine as a companion or he will develope seperation anxiety. A stay at home person would also be ideal. He prefers outdoors, but if introduced gradually, could learn indoor manners readily.

Due to size, a home with without small children would be best, however, teens would be okay. Although he is young, he is still maturing and needs an active lifestyle to burn off his abundant energy in a positive manner. Lots of long walks or runs would work wonders for this fellow. Malamute experienced owners are recommended to help Diesel mature into the awesome mal he has the potential of being. He bonds easily and would be a great companion.

If you have room in your heart and home and are interested in adopting Diesel, please contact Judy at:
