Bagherra | ||||||||||
|
Bagherra is an Alaskan Malamute who is 10 years old. She has always
been with one family until the children started coming along and
because of her age she did not like them jumping all over her. She
will now growl at small children so a family with older children or
no children would be best for her.
Bagherra does show some food aggression but if you call her on it she stops. She prefers being outside. She will watch cats and follow them but does not hurt them. Because of her age a forever foster home could be set up.

P lease exercise caution in introducing a dog to new situations until the dog has become fully adjusted to its new environment, and the adopter has had an opportunity to become familiar with the dog's unique personality. All contractual obligations concerning this dog will be between the shelter and the adopter.
Given that it is impossible to predict with complete accuracy how any dog will react in a given situation, without completeknowledge of its life experiences, the AMHL urges the adopter to exercise caution in introducing the dog tonew situations until the dog has become fully adjusted to its new environment and the adopter has had an opportunity to become familiar with the dog's unique personality. |
