Lou is a neutered 2 year old Mal cross, with a big, loving heart. This young man loves to be around people and tries to mind his manners while doing so. He always greets you with a smile, tongue dangling and his tail wagging. And yes, this fellow is house trained. And just look at those eyes!

He knows his basic commands and tries very hard to please you. Lou has the energy of a puppy and will require a person(s) or family who is very active to ensure this boy gets his daily dose of the outdoors. He will make a great companion given the loyalty he has displayed.

Lou loves to play fetch but still requires some training on taking play a little too far at times. He will need to be taught some boundaries for play time but has displayed his intelligence with learning new things. He loves his walks and the longer the better.

This boy has never had the opportunity to be socialized with other dogs, and has demonstrated a dominant attitude, without aggression, so careful introduction to other dogs will be necessary. No testing with cats has been done.

Lou needs some guidance to gain self confidence to become even more of a fun, loving and loyal companion. He will require a home with lots of love and patience. If you think you can give this beautiful boy that home, please contact Judy Harvey at
