Chino is a gorgeous, well behaved, 7 year old purebred Alaskan Malamute. He is neutered and weighs 110 lbs. Chino has lived with his original owners since he was a puppy, but he is having trouble adjusting to the 2 year old child in the home. As there is another younger child as well, his family feels they need to find him a new home rather than risk a confrontation. For this reason, his new home must be one without young children. Aside from being uncomfortable around young children, Chino is a great dog. He gets along well with other dogs of both sex, and even cats! He is great with people and older kids. Chino is a cuddler and loves attention. He is great in the house, car and yard, and walks very well on leash. This lovely boy has also had some experience boating and did great on a 3 day boat trip -- even waiting for his dinghy ride to shore to go to the bathroom. Chino loves playing with toys, and as most Malamutes do, he loves his treats and playing in the snow. His tricks include catching a cookie that has been balanced on his nose as well as putting his paws on your shoulders to "come up for kisses". This great boy needs a new home with experienced owners who will let him know his place in the pack and where he will be a loving part of their family.
