"Rumi is a 8yr old pure bred Malamute. She is a very good girl , very typical to the malamute breed. She loves to talk will tell you all the stories you want to hear. She has gotten along with any medium to large dog of all breeds that I have put with her. I have not intoduced her to small dogs as she does not do so well with cats.

She will not kill a cat just wants to chew them. Although she will not kill them she will annoy them to death with her constant obsession with them , therefore I would not recommend she go to a home with cats. or small dogs as I don't think I would completely trust her with small animals of any kind. Having said that I think she would do well with any other dogs as she has played with many that I have here for boarding.

Rumi may be an older girl but doesn't act like one. She will heal well for anyone assertive, but if you are a push over she will push you over. Basically she is a very smart , very sweet girl who loves her hugs and kisses every day and would love nothing more that a walk a day and to sit by your feet and be loved."

If you think you could be a match for Rumi please complete and adoption application form at:
