Reign is a very sweet 10 year old purebred Alaskan malamute. She is in foster care with PAWS in Creston, BC. Her owners have moved and cannot take her with them.

Reign foster mom reports:
"Reign is a super-nice dog. She is a very clean dog, good indoors, well-mannered, and funny. She smiles - showing her front teeth. Reign weighs about 110 lbs and was a bit overweight. As she is losing weight she is becoming more fit and active. One of her favourite games has become chasing and retrieving a Kong on a rope. She loves pouncing on it, shaking and tossing it happily as she returns with it for another throw. Reign shows no signs of joint problems or arthritis and is in good health.

Reign is an alpha girl, and gets along with some dogs. We have discovered that she has a dislike for black dogs, large and small! She has no problem with brown, white, or blond dogs at all.

Reign walks very well on lead. She gets along well with all people including kids. She loves attention and is very friendly. She has lived outdoors for a long time, but loves to be inside with people."

Reign had been shaved recently to clear up some hotspots. Her hair has grown in beautifully and she is a stunning head turner!

Reign is a healthy senior who still has a lot of spunk and love to give! If you love the Malamute breed, but just don't have the time and energy to meet all the exercise and training demands of high acivity younger Mals, this girl would be a lovely companion.
